The Team: Peacock House opened in 2023, and focuses on providing warm, welcoming, and trauma-informed care to people experiencing mental health relapse or distress. Peacock House works closely with the peer lead services at Peacock Centre, including the Integration Hub, the Safe Haven, and the Recovery College. The Role: Undertake the delivery of quality specialist community-based inpatient assessments, care, and treatment to consumers of the Acute Treatment Unit (ATU). ATU is based on best practice principles including Recovery Oriented Practice, the Triangle of Care framework & Trauma Informed Care, and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework. Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. $110,425 to $126,703 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); or Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
