Position Title: Allied Health Professional Lead Classification: Dependant on Qualifications & Experience Salary per hour: Dependant on Qualifications & Experience Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 48 hours per fortnight Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise agreement 2021-2026 The Allied Health Program Lead is a Senior Clinician position that is a part of the leadership team in the At Home Programs working as a key member of the multidisciplinary team. At Home Programs lead and coordinate care options for clients to receive appropriate levels of clinical care within their own homes, when safe to do so. With a focus on quality multi-disciplinary care provision based on client need and individual care planning, the ultimate aim is to offer an alternative to hospital-based care with care in the home or place of residence. This position will have a joint Allied Health Program Lead for Allied Health Professionals (AHP) in Dhelkaya Health Residential Aged Care Facilities and the Allied Health Assistant (AHA) workforce working across all areas of Dhelkaya Health. The position will work in close collaboration with the relevant Program Managers, Coordinators and Discipline Professional leads and other relevant stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services by staff who are supported to perform their roles within an evidence-based framework. This position will have a strong focus on engagement and support of the AHA and AHP's in RACF through clinical supervision, proactive approaches to mitigating clinical risk, workforce strategies and recruitment, professional development, maintaining professional standards, and promoting a collective professional identity within Dhelkaya Health. The role will include provision of clinical support and consultation diversely across programs at a Senior Clinician level commensurate with the discipline and aligned with the Program Lead clinical areas and demand. About you Tertiary qualifications in relevant Allied Health profession Current AHPRA registration or equivalent professional association membership Minimum 7 years clinical experience in relevant clinical area of expertise Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead and maintain working relationships in a professional workplace and in clinical settings.
