Job details Position status: Fixed Term Temporary Position type: Full-time Occupational group: Health - Allied Health/Clinical Support Classification: HP5 Workplace Location: North West Qld Job ad reference: QLD/MI615509 Closing date: 03-Feb-2025 Fortnightly salary: $5557 - $5798 Job duration: Temporary full time 6 months (possible extension) Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives Working with us: Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum. Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum. Manage a comprehensive needs analysis that aims to explore prevalence, current practice and priorities regarding the provision of allied health child development services in the North West Hospital and Health Service Region including service planning and development at the direction of the Executive Director of Allied Health. To establish and maintain effective partnerships between stakeholders across the hospital, community and the primary health care sector, so that initiatives and projects are effectively enabled. Requirements: You must hold a Working with Children Blue Card prior to appointment to this position Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000. Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. A period of probation may apply.
