We now have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and passionate Relationship Manager to play an active role in nurturing the University of Sydney’s alumni community. This is a key role which connects meaningfully with alumni through effective pipeline management through multiple stages of engagement from personalised communication, in-person connections, volunteering and event interactions. We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder who can take a creative approach to identify and maximise opportunities to build strong connections with a portfolio of alumni ranging from recent graduates to esteemed leaders. The Relationship Manager is an integral conduit between the central Alumni and Supporter Experience team and colleagues in the Faculty and Schools. The four Relationship Managers have distinct portfolios and priority projects and each report to the Deputy Director, Alumni and Supporter Experience. You enjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase alumni engagement and advocacy. Enjoys being a relationship builder and can manage relationships with Deans and Heads of Schools that establishes and implements the annual engagement plan. Presents with highly developed emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills . Is a high achiever with innate motivation. Has experience initiating and coordinating a range of programs that may incorporate virtual or in-person events . Is analytical in their thinking and has an ability to research, formulate and present high-level oral briefings and presentations. Can demonstrate project management skills . About us The Alumni and Supporter Experience team engages with a diverse community of over 440,000 alumni through a wide range of communications, events, volunteering programs, fundraising, and engagement initiatives. A key aspect of the role is to maintain relationships with Deans and Heads of School within the assigned portfolio to establish the annual engagement plan and meet with them quarterly to discuss and assign bespoke engagement strategies for influential alumni.
