Your new role as Anaesthetic & Scrub/Scout Nurse: Due to ongoing growth in our services, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Anaesthetic & Scrub/Scout Nurses (RN & EEN) to join our friendly and supportive Perioperative team in a part-time or casual capacity. About you (essential criteria): Current Working with Children Check and Police Check. Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA Minimum 3 years’ post graduate experience in theatre with demonstrated understanding of surgical procedures and perioperative services. Demonstrated clinical assessment skills Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement with an understanding of NSQHS and ability to apply to clinical care. Demonstrates ability to function independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical timeframes. A positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making. Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health. Perioperative postgraduate qualifications, or working towards same Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance as relevant to nursing practice. Familiarity with desktop applications, including WebPAS and Kronos/UKG highly regarded Understanding of Private Hospital landscape. Applications must address and meet essential criteria.
