Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Analyst - Data Date: 29 Jan 2025 Location: Melbourne, VIC, AU, 3002 Company: Orica About Orica About the role We are excited to announce a pivotal opportunity for a Data Migration Analyst role to join our esteemed team in Melbourne on a hybrid working setup.Orica has commenced a Global Payroll Transformation, with an intent of uplifting and consolidating payroll across all of Orica's 46 countries. This includes the introduction of interfaces with HR master data, finance and banking. The introduction of best-in-class systems and standardization of payroll processes globally.This Data Migration Analyst is going to be reporting to the data lead and will be responsible for preparing data extracts from Orica's incumbent systems (Success Factors and various payroll systems), transformation of the data into the required Dayforce template, and coordinating with Orica's Dayforce consultants during the loading process. Key milestones for this role include, initial HR data loads, data loads to support testing and parallel, and then production cutover loads.The second element to this role is about is about ensuring the accuracy and quality of the data. Orica are seeking candidates with exceptional attention to detail coupled with an inquisitive mindset, that will not accept the data as it is, but question anomalies and proactively work with the business to resolve, ensuring that quality issues are not transferred to the new system.What you will be doing Reports to the data lead and handles data extracts from Orica's systems (Success Factors and payroll systems). Transforms data into the Dayforce template and coordinates with Dayforce consultants during loading. Key milestones: initial HR data loads, testing and parallel data loads, and production cutover loads. Ensures data accuracy and quality, questioning anomalies and resolving issues proactively. Requires exceptional attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset to prevent quality issues in the new system.
