About the Team & the Position Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Secrets Management is a key capability within AEMO enabling secure connectivity for technical assets and devices within AEMO’s infrastructure. The role will provide assistance in driving complex design, implementation, and management activities aligned to several high assurance technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure, OCSP Infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules (HSM’s) and Secrets Management solutions. Position Requirements Skills & Experience: Experience in managing the lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, and revocation. Experience with ITIL processes, service management, and change management required. Good experience in PKI, cryptography, certificate management, DNS security, and hardware security modules devices. Experience in enforcing certificate policies and standards to ensure consistent and secure use of digital certificates across the organization. Experience in producing technical documentation. Understanding of cryptographic concepts and protocols (SSL/TLS, Encryption Algorithm). Experience of PKI tools and technology (e.g., Microsoft CA, OpenSSL, HSMs). Validation of DNS records for domain verification during SSL certificate issuance. Experience in troubleshooting credential providers on CyberArk. Familiarity with certificate management tools (Digicert, RSA, Verisign, Entrust). Knowledge on Azure Key Vault and secrets management preferred. Knowledge of DNS configuration, management, and security. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Education/Professional Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL are highly desirable.
