Animal Care Officers (Animal Attendants) - Full Time The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals New South Wales (RSPCA NSW) is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation. Are you an experienced Animal Attendant and want to join an organisation where their mission is to prevent animal cruelty and neglect? If this sounds like you, RSPCA NSW wants you to join the team as Animal Attendants on a casual basis. You will be motivated, energetic, reliable, and willing to undertake a range of Animal Attendant responsibilities, ensuring a high standard of animal care is maintained. We are on the lookout for Full-time candidates and the successful candidate will be required to work some weekends. About the Role As an Animal Attendant Superstar, you will: Perform animal care tasks such as cleaning cages/enclosures; medicating; feeding; exercising; assessing animals. Provide basic first aid to animals where required. Ensure high level communication to managers and colleagues to ensure all information is provided to required parties. Provide high level customer service to all stakeholders, including members of the public. About You You will have the confidence to interact with customers from all walks of life and possess the following: Certificate II Animal Care or equivalent experience essential. Previous animal handling skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. The ability to work rotating rosters including weekends and public holidays. The desire to work with people to improve animal welfare outcomes. Initiative and ability to prioritise. Good organisational skills. Team player. Excellent attention to detail.
