Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We’re in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more. Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We’re currently hiring an Application Analyst to manage some of our core business systems. In this role you’ll work closely with our Head of IT and the wider team, including developers based in South Korea headquarters, to resolve system errors and improve system functionality. What you’ll do: Provide technical support for internal and external applications and integrations. Act as the technical point of contact for business users with respect to system functionality/features and for UAT. Analyse, document and communicate functional and non-functional requirements for business systems. Analyse business processes and functions to specify/apply system improvements. Liaise with external vendors to make relevant system enhancements as required. Support testing of system functionality in collaboration with HCAU’s HQ development team to ensure test plans and test cases accurately reflect business requirements. Work with business users and developers to identify data mapping needs and data management initiatives. Develop and maintain system documentation, user training materials and process maps etc… Enterprise-wide expertise in applications support and management including minor development, bug fixes etc... Proficiency with JAVA, Python & SQL working in a similar role. A background working within financial services. Experience working directly with vendors to customize and enhance third party systems.
