Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Location: Sydney, NSW Job Types: Full-time Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Purpose: The Architect Design Manager is responsible for delivering quality designs, drawings, and documentation for both The Strategy team and each project team in NSW and QLD within specified timeframes, ensuring that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations. The Builder Designer is also responsible for all aspects of Design Coordination between internal and external parties in liaison with the Strategy Manager. Principal Accountabilities: Provide innovative designs, drawings, and documentation based on company Apartment Design Guidelines. Control the input and output of all documentation with each project team to ensure distribution and follow-up with relevant internal and external parties. Provide drawings and documentation in line with design briefs for product development and presentation within the expected timeline. Identify cost-effective and optimal solutions to all designs. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and design guidelines. Ensure all apartment designs are carried out in line with Company design principles. Team Work: Ability to work with team members in a cooperative manner. Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times in accordance with Company policies and guidelines. Quality & Safety: Ensure high-quality presentation of workplace/sites and adherence to Work Health and Safety standards. Ensure activities undertaken are legal, ethical, and consistent with Company policies. Customer Service: Adhere to the Company’s Customer philosophy and provide exceptional customer service standards to both internal & external stakeholders. Experience/Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in residential apartment projects (minimum 3 years). Experience in liaising with Councils, relevant authorities, and consultants throughout the process. Skilled in managing the coordination throughout Concept Design phase to DA, towards construction commencement. Good level of understanding of building codes and standards (BCA, EP&A ADG, DCP).
