The Opportunity Delaware North Australia, have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Bistro/Bar Area Supervisor to lead our iconic Legends Room, open to Medallion Club members at the MCG. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse casual team to service excellence through feedback, support and training, while guaranteeing an exceptional experience to the member based guests. What we offer About the space: Legends Room is situated on Level 2 in the Shane Warne Stand. A modern bistro, featuring 2 bars and offering kitchen and snack menu options on match days.This space has capability for a variety of table sizes and covers, serving, pre, during and post-match. The room offers views across the MCG ground Availability: Full commitment for match days, throughout the 2025 AFL season. Including weekends, periodic Thursday and Friday nights and public holiday matches. Occasional set up shifts in the lead up to block buster games. Potential for ongoing shifts outside the AFL season. What you will do? Supervising casual food & beverage team members Responsible for assisting with stock take as required Monitoring staffing levels and requesting changes when necessary Escalating issues through to the appropriate channels More about you A commitment to service excellence Ability to manage stock Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet Adding to the skills highly regarded – however not essential: Experience using the POS system, SwiftPOSExperience using the rostering system, Humanforce Who we are With a capacity of more than 100,000, the MCG is the largest sporting stadium in the Southern Hemisphere.
