The role will see you set up, manage, develop, and grow operations for DHL Supply Chain - providing strategic direction and leadership, excellence in operations, customer satisfaction, employee welfare, and engaging the customer through innovative solutions. To succeed in this demanding role you will need to have a sense of urgency and be able to effectively prioritize your daily operations to ensure the key time-critical milestones are achieved. You will also be required to have a sound knowledge of all facets of Supply Chain Operations. Responsibilities Management of growth in the operation Providing knowledge and experience with specialized operational requirements Driving the direction and leadership for the operations team In-depth commercial acumen to ensure profitable growth Customer liaison and management, excite and delight the customer with innovative solutions for their business Requirements 5 years’ plus experience in operations - within a 3PL/4PL environment (Airplane catering experience highly regarded) Driving Performance to ensure long-term growth of the business and achieve business plan objectives including profitability Demonstrable history of developing long-term strategic partnerships to the highest stakeholder level within the industry Leading and developing a highly capable Operations team Demonstrating clear communication, influencing, leadership, and relationship building with an ability to partner with the business to drive key outcomes Proven background implementing and delivering a LEAN manufacturing program Superior end-to-end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management, and improvement opportunities Proven experience providing strategic direction and leadership Be a strong and effective communicator with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal & external stakeholders Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor Advanced MS Office; specifically Excel and PowerPoint #J-18808-Ljbffr
