Expressions of interest are sought for a part time, non-ongoing Artistic Director (subject to renewal). This contract position involves overseeing all aspects of the artistic production for National Opera, such as assessing and selecting the works to be produced, recruiting singers and other creatives, overseeing annual open audition selection, setting production schedules, and managing budgets. The artistic director would be responsible for selecting a season made up of a minimum of three works per year. This can include scaled down operatic works, new works, concerts, galas etc. Seasons must feature creativity, innovation, where possible – be focused on spectacle (rather than traditionally staged theatrical performances) and have an aspect of development for local and emerging artists and talent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
