The Position Our client is a reputable contractor with established national clients providing a very stable programme of works within road construction and an extremely stable order book with very good potential to expand the national operations. The Asphalt and Sealing Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of a busy and successful multi-project business. The successful candidate: Will have key skills and experience in HSE and be able to lead the HSE function Can demonstrate a variety of communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude in addition to excellent literacy and interpersonal skills. Will be able to balance multiple priorities within a deadline-driven environment Can motivate and influence a large team of long-term and committed team members Will possess a proactive and resourceful nature with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team Will understand the importance of financial reports, forecasting project status, and working with stakeholders Will enjoy working with a committed and successful team and enjoy the social side of this close team.
