Job Description
Do you have technical insights, do you enjoy working on agricultural machinery and are you in for an adventure in Australia? In the position for assembly worker agricultural equipment, you are building agricultural machinery mainly for arable farming. Does this describe you? Do you have technical skills and do enjoy working on agricultural machinery? Do you want to be part of an international team and enjoy working abroad in Australia for a period of time? Are you in a position to apply for a Working Holiday visa to Australia? We have year-round opportunities in our own modern workshop, located in the Melbourne area. This work can also be combined well with seasonal work. Key responsibilities You will assemble agricultural machinery, such as large seeders, ensuring they are ready to be used in the field. You will ensure together with the team that the machines are assembled according to drawings. You will be part of an international team, and despite cultural and communication differences, you will do your utmost to make collaboration work well. You will adhere to workplace rules and regulations. Qualifications You have some technical experience, preferably with agricultural machinery. A good command of at least the English language is required. You can work well together in a team, have a high sense of responsibility, and you think in terms of possibilities. What’s in it for you? A competitive salary between $25 AUD and $30 AUD per hour, depending on knowledge and experience. We will prepare you as well as possible for your departure to Australia. Optionally, we offer you accommodation near our workshop. Optionally, we will help you with your visa application for a Working Holiday visa (most countries have an age restriction between 18 and 31 years old). Our Country Manager is present in Australia to assist you as needed. With our extensive network, we can assist you in finding seeding or harvesting work, either prior to or following your time in our workshop.
