Asset Care Electrical and Control Engineer Job in Deeside Position: Electrical & Control Asset Care EngineerWork Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pmLocation: FlintshireSalary: £55kBonus: Up to 10%Pension: Up to 9%Holidays: 23 days + statutory holidays A state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility in Flint is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical & Control Asset Care Engineer to lead from the front and drive positive change across the site. This role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of our FMCG production facility. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to drive maintenance excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: - Ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and safety of all electrical and control systems.- Emphasize three key pillars: Preventive maintenance / Minimizing downtime Continuous improvement – To enhance reliability and performance Be the point of contact for electrical work on site Minimum Requirements: - Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)- Further education to obtain a HNC, HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering or Mechatronics (or equivalent)- Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility- Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications- Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities- Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA work This vacancy would be ideal for controls engineers, automation engineers, asset care engineers, electrical maintenance engineers, or electrical engineers.
