About the role: Partner with the Budget Owners and Project Managers to provide insights and trend analysis on project and cost centre spend, and embed best practice cost management. The role is involved with the collation, development and reporting of actual spend, forecasting and budget, presenting insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering with Budget Owners and Project Managers to provide insights and trend analysis to project and cost centre spend and embed best practice cost management. Reporting of actual monthly spend compared to budget and forecast, preparing commentary for variances analysis, ensuring accurate reporting on data and corrective action planning. Review, develop and submit monthly accruals, including reconciliation and identified corrective actions for Purchase order commitments and receipting. Support scheduling and planning of projects working with SMEs in the business. Creation of monthly forecasts in Tableau or Prism G2, ensuring alignment with Project schedule and actively identifying risk and ops to capex program. What will you bring? Demonstrated functional knowledge of electronic cost control tools, including spreadsheets; Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. Experience in a large project-based system such as Oracle or SAP, as well as MS Office. Demonstrated technical competence in cost tracking and reporting. Ability to interpret cost and schedule data for forecasting purposes. A Tertiary qualification (Accounting, Commerce, or Engineering). CA to CPA Accredited is desirable. So, why join us?
