About The Role We have a great opportunity within TasNet Connections, being a newly created role of Asset Development Manager supporting Tasmania’s energy transformation.This pivotal role will drive the development of non-regulated transmission network assets for large-scale connections servicing renewable energy, storage and major industries in Tasmania. In This Role You Will Be Responsible For Leading the scope, design and estimation of multiple customer projects Providing technical expertise on high voltage network and innovative solutions Manage the delivery of tailored technical proposals and design solutions for customers, including the coordination of delivery partners Establishing and governing asset standards and specifications in collaboration with business areas Guiding customers through all stages of the project (feasibility, scope development, asset delivery and management) About You You are an experienced asset development professional with a strong technical background in transmission networks, power systems, or large-scale energy infrastructure projects. You bring a strategic mindset, outstanding project leadership, and the ability to manage complex multi-million-dollar projects from concept to execution. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering with significant industry experience. Demonstrated experience in the development, scoping, and feasibility assessment of large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a track record of delivering results in complex project environments. Knowledge of regulatory and commercial frameworks relevant to non-regulated transmission network projects. An adaptable interpersonal style with the ability to build rapport and strong business relationships with a range of customers Able to work intrastate and at times on site for small periods of time At an exciting time in the energy industry this is a great opportunity to join a progressive team working towards renewable energy in Tasmania!
