About the role The Asset Engineer – Secondary Systems is responsible for supporting the overall Strategic Asset Management of Endeavour Energy’s Secondary Systems, which has a total installed asset base (replacement value) of approximately $200 million, to meet the business’s objectives and optimise the balance of risks, costs and benefits. Key accountabilities Support the strategic management of Secondary Systems assets throughout their life cycle, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with ISO 55001 standards. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, strategic plans, programs, and maintenance requirements for Secondary Systems, including asset end-of-life programs. Oversee asset data management, analytics, reporting capabilities, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and performance improvement strategies. Provide leadership through staff development, mentoring, and contributing to the section’s vision, alongside delivering recommendations, business cases, and advanced risk management analysis. Drive safety performance by promoting personal and management accountability, fostering a positive safety culture, and implementing targeted improvement programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or registered in New South Wales as a Professional Engineer in the specialisation Electrical Engineering. Desired Qualifications Postgraduate studies in Engineering, Business, Finance or Project Management, would be beneficial. Licences/Tickets C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM).
