About the Role: We currently have an exciting permanent role available to join our Electricity Networks team.As an Asset Management Engineer - Stations, you’ll be at the heart of shaping the future of Victoria’s energy infrastructure. In this business-critical role, you’ll drive the development and execution of innovative, cost-effective asset management strategies and plans that enhance the performance and longevity of critical high-voltage assets.Your expertise will directly influence strategic decision-making, ensuring the reliability, safety, and sustainability of our electricity network. From risk assessment to lifecycle cost optimisation, you’ll play a key role in delivering smarter, more efficient energy solutions across CitiPower, Powercor, United Energy and Australian Energy Operations—powering millions of homes and businesses while driving the transition to a cleaner energy future. In this role you will: Develop and implement asset management strategies for station HV assets. Optimise maintenance plans, risk evaluation, and long-term asset performance. Conduct risk assessments and drive whole-of-life cost optimisation. Analyse data to enhance asset performance and investment planning. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop reports, business cases, and financial models. Investigate asset failures and develop improvement initiatives. Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to drive innovation. What You’ll Bring to this role: Bachelor of Engineering (mandatory; electrical preferred, other disciplines considered). Registered Professional Engineer (or be eligible for) in Victoria. National Engineering Register and Chartered (CPEng) status or equivalent (desirable). Experience in asset management strategy development, risk-based modelling, and financial analysis. Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex technical data to a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in reliability-centred maintenance, risk assessment, and asset performance analysis. Knowledge of SAP/OMS (desirable). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
