The Asset PMO Analyst position will play a pivotal role in project governance, project assurance and project support as well as supporting our company-wide capex budget and reporting processes. Your key responsibilities Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Leaders in providing capex project governance support and direction. Take a lead role in supporting newly developed capex project assurance functions, including stage gate and key project artefact reviews. Play a key role in facilitating and contributing to the development of tailored capex project delivery approaches to enhance efficiency of delivery. Provide portfolio support to a variety of stakeholders across the asset business on key data, processes and project artefact coaching. Provide key insights and reporting around financial, schedule and benefits realisation performance. Build and maintain partnerships across the capital works teams and act as a point of contact for queries or concerns around capex. Support the annual and pricing submission (5 yearly) budget process. Support the monthly capex reporting process, including review meetings, and project status with team leaders and other senior stakeholders. Provide stakeholder support and be a Asset PMO administrator for the soon to be launched Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool. Participate in continual improvement activities both internally and externally to the Asset PMO team. To view the full position description, click HERE. What we’re looking for Degree in Engineering, Project or Portfolio Management, Business/Economics or relevant area Data analytics and reporting expertise High level of competency in the Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel skills Ability to establish, maintain and develop strong working relationships High level of accuracy, attention to detail and maintenance of data integrity PPM tool experience – highly desirable Experience with Power BI – highly desirable Why Yarra Valley Water?
