The Asset Planning Administrator is responsible for supporting the planning, organisation, and administration of asset management activities, ensuring optimal performance, and the alignment of assets with organisational goals. The role involves managing asset records, assisting in asset planning, facilitating audits, and maintaining reports. This position ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations while contributing to efficient decision-making regarding asset utilisation and maintenance.What you will be doing: Maintain accurate records of organisational assets Update and track asset inventories, ensuring data integrity and consistency in the asset management system. Assist in the development and execution of asset management plans aligned with business objectives. Coordinate and support the asset lifecycle planning, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal strategies. Act as the administrator of the Asset Management System. Provide timely support to other departments for asset planning needs Maintain strong relationships between asset management, finance, procurement, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. What we require from you: Proven experience in a similar role. Degree in Business Administration, Asset Management, or a related field. Familiarity with asset management software (e.g., Hexagon EAM, SAP or similar). Strong understanding of asset lifecycle, inventory management, and financial tracking. Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards related to asset management. Data management skills. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex duties simultaneously. Time management and planning skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address unexpected engineering and other related issues. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing organisational needs. Ability to action other tasks and functions as directed in accordance with your capability, experience, and organisational knowledge. Proficiency in Sea Swift systems (or equivalent) and relevant IT platforms such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Understanding of WH&S obligations.
