The Opportunity We are looking for an Asset Works Program Strategy Manager to join our Network team in this critical role heading up TransGrid’s capex and opex Program of Work in terms of planned and unplanned work committed and completed across various asset classes. In your new role you will be responsible for optimising a Program of Work, tracking the program's performance against budgeted or forecast assumptions and delivering asset works program strategies applying prescribed capital investment processes and governance to maximise investment value. You will lead a team that is responsible for detailed analysis and analytics and the driving force behind portfolio optimisation, strategic insights and recommendations to the Asset Managers. This is the perfect role for someone who has high commercial acumen as you will provide sponsorship on capital projects coupled with exceptional stakeholder skills and leadership capability. About you Advanced business case, capital investment analysis, and benefits realisation skills, including experience with portfolio optimisation, within an economically regulated infrastructure business Solid communication skills including writing and making presentations to a variety of audiences Solid interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, management, and technical staff of other organisations Significant experience effectively managing internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to manage a team of technical specialists and professional staff Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience Our Leadership Principles At Transgrid, our Leadership Principles—Courage, Care, Clarity, and Connection—form the foundation of how we lead.
