Satterley has an exciting opportunity in our West Perth Office for a permanent full-time role of Assistant Accountant. We are seeking an experienced person who can provide support to the accountants with regards to the various requirements in managing a range of projects and entities. Key responsibilities include: Manage trust accounting and CRM reconciliation including sales and stock. Manage end of month invoicing of fees and commissions. Verify job and cost codes on authorised purchase orders and invoices to align with budget, revise where necessary. Understand the budgets and ensure accounts and budget treatments/cost allocations are consistent. Assist to prepare management accounts to P&L and Balance Sheet including preparation of necessary journals, following up unresolved items, and preparing supporting account reconciliations. Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations and payment run. Assist with audit and ad hoc tasks as requested. The role also requires a candidate to demonstrate: At least 2 years experience in a similar role with a Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance or equivalent corporate accounting experience. Experience with computerised accounting systems, ideally MYOB and Timberline. Well-developed financial literacy and numerical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Intermediate Excel skills. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders (internal and external) to provide information, support, and advice.
