Assistant Centre Administration Support Officer - Shortland CC - CGS Division: Security and Custody Location: Shortland, NSW, AU, 2307 Clerk General Scale, Shortland Correctional Centre Permanent Full-Time Role Clerk General Scale, Salary $35,600 - $69,686pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Great Team Environment located at Shortland Correctional Centre, Cessnock NSW Switch/Reception Desk In this role you would be required to assist in undertaking a variety of recognised correctional administrative tasks within the areas of general administration, including providing administrative assistance to identified staff members, reception/switch duties, electronic filing, attending to the generic email inbox, and ensuring the team is supported in accordance with the directions provided by your Manager. There will be face-to-face contact with Offenders in a controlled environment. As a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Centre Administration Support Officer, you will maintain confidentiality, require high attention to detail and accuracy, provide excellent customer service, and have the ability to work under pressure. You should have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work within a team environment. Minimum Requirements: Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW. Forklift licence NOT required for this role. About Us: Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community. CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
