In this role as Assistant Community Manager, you will work closely with the Community Manager, staff members and residents to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and administrative tasks of the community. This role is customer-facing and requires being organised, fast-paced and providing friendly, concierge-style hospitality to residents. Located in Springfield Central, we are looking for a seasoned professional who will use their existing admin or operations skills to deliver a high level of service to this community.This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday 8-4pmWhat We Offer: - Paid Parental Leave and Purchased Annual Leave options- Two additional 'All About Me' leave days per calendar year- Annual salary reviews and annual bonus incentive scheme- Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program- Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers- Opportunities for further career progression (develop into a Community Manager and beyond)- Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living communityYou will:- Ensure ongoing daily operations of entire village services including safety, security, maintenance and compliance- Complete general administrative tasks including but not limited to email & phone communication, payroll/time sheets, invoicing, ordering of supplies, distribution of notices and incident recording- Assist with the administrative tasks of residents moving in and moving out of our village- Support the residents & their families, internal stakeholders and external contractors- Be the first point of contact for residents and their queries and concerns- Support the Community Manager in general day-to-day operations and cover in their absenceWhat You'll Bring: - Experience in an operations-based role or administration highly desirable (e.g Hospitality, Hotel/Tourism, Property Manager, Practise Manager, Facilities Manager, Senior Admin or similar)- Intermediate use of Microsoft Suite and highly computer literate as you will learn new programs- High-level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills- Strong focus on customer satisfaction- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations requiredWho We Are: Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
