Northern Rivers Community Gateway has been delivering the Rainbow Region Kids (RRK) OSHC program for many years. Our well-established, accredited child-centred program provides before school care, after school care, and vacation care across 15 locations in the Northern Rivers region. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Assistant Coordinators to join our team across multiple locations: Mullumbimby Alstonville Wollongbar Kyogle Each role will be primarily based at one service but may require occasional work at other OSHC services and Community Gateway locations. About the role Lead the day-to-day operations at the service, ensuring a fun, safe, and enriching environment for school-aged children. Develop and facilitate engaging programs that include sports, games, cooking, art, and craft, catering to individual and group needs. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community. Supervise and mentor educators, junior employees, and students to ensure high-quality service delivery. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with regulatory requirements. This role includes a compulsory weekly team meeting and a monthly all-staff meeting at the Lismore Head Office. Weekly hours & flexibility Minimum 15 hours per week, with potential to increase to 30 hours during vacation care or peak periods. Weekly contract hours are worked within the service operational hours: Before School Care: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM (varies by service) What we offer Attractive salary packaging options (take home more pay!)
