Spudshed is passionate about produce and providing our customers with an excellent shopping experience! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Dairy/Freezer Department Manager to join our Spudshed team located at Jandakot, WA! Permanent Full-Time role! About the Role: As an Assistant Department Manager, you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as having excellent leadership skills to train and develop new team members. Our aim is to make our Customers and Employees experience at Spudshed a welcoming and engaging one! Responsibilities: Assist Department Manager in meeting rostering requirements, daily sales targets and expense controls. Monitor quality control, wastage and shrinkage, bringing awareness to your team about seasonal environmental or current quality related issues within the department. Manage stock, checking deliveries to ensure store requirements are fulfilled. Proactively meet, improve and engage your team on store presentation standards. Support our customers’ needs through excellent service. About you: Previous experience in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage operations in cold conditions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills. Flexibility for early morning and weekend work.
