Details: Are you ready to take the next step and manage a high performing team and lead in the delivery of contemporary digital platforms that service both the ACT Emergency Services Agency’s (ESA) operational needs and the public? The ESA is searching for an experienced Assistant Director to manage the delivery of the ESA’s contemporary digital capability. You will be required to manage critical relationships with external stakeholders and agencies, and administer the ESA Amazon Web Services tenancy, SharePoint, and website. Your role will include collaborating closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to manage, provide technical support, and oversight on digital projects and contracts. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the small team who performs basic administration, permission management, training, and governance for many of ESA’s digital systems. Eligibility/Other Requirements: To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS), you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa. If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar is highly desirable. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure. Experience with Drupal CMS. Experience in SharePoint and O365 is highly desirable. Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People Check. Driver’s licence Class C is essential. This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
