Job Description

The key duties of the position include The Role Joint Capabilities Group (JCG), Cyber Operations Division (COD) is seeking a highly motivated professional leader with recent experience in providing strong proactive leadership in an ICT Service Delivery environment within a large diverse organisation. This position leads a small team of ICT professionals in providing ICT support to the Departments Ministers, Service Chiefs and Senior Executive Service Officers. The VIP ICT Support Team operate in a fast-paced high exposure environment where demands on attention to detail and agility are of exceptional quality. Applicants will need to demonstrate a high level of resilience and attention to detail. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes. This will include the development, implementation, compliance with and review of policies and procedures. About our Team The Directorate of Regional ICT Services (DRICTS) acts as the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) representative for all ICT products and services delivered to Defence regional bases and sites across Australia and internationally. The Directorate is specifically responsible for Deskside Support Services, Audio Visual Support Services, End User Advocacy and Relationships, Regional Project Support, Communications Security Services (COMSEC) and Regional Assurance and Governance Services. Our team comprises a mix of Australian Public Service (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Contracted personnel located across approximately 56 major Defence bases Australia wide. We also have an Overseas Region where opportunity exists for APS to rotate through the United States of America and England.
