Job Title: Assistant Electrical & ITS Maintenance Manager Employer: DFP Recruitment Client Position Type: 5 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + Super Location: Jandakot, WA 6164 Key Responsibilities: Support Maintenance Manager: Provide essential support to the Electrical and ITS Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance activities for electrical and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure. Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance schedules for electrical and ITS assets are understood and adhered to. Ensure that maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and issues. Asset Optimization Support: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for asset optimisation, such as energy-efficient upgrades, technology enhancements, or process improvements. Compliance and Standards Adherence: Assist in ensuring that all electrical and ITS assets comply with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to maintain compliance and safety. Data Analysis Assistance: Review reports on asset conditions and performance and provide feedback and comments. Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Assist in coordinating with vendors and suppliers to source quality components and services for asset maintenance and upgrades. Manage relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement. Team Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that tasks are completed effectively and safely. Provide support and guidance to technicians and maintenance personnel. Essential to be successful in the role: Excellent knowledge of Western Australian Electrical Requirements (WAER), AS/NZ 3000, 3017 and 3019. Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, etc.). Previous experience in an electrical and/or ITS related maintenance space, with good working knowledge of the fundamentals of maintenance, including pre-planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (unplanned and emergency). An unrestricted electrical worker's licence endorsed electrician. Previous project management and contract management experience. Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one. ‘C’ Class WA Drivers License.
