About The Opportunity This position provides primary support to Financial Accountants within the Financial Accounting Unit to provide a seamless, efficient, and continually improving service to all levels within Sydney Local Health District. This position works closely with and under the direction of the Financial Accountant – Business/Intra Health to meet strict deadlines and provide support to Annual Accounts and other duties as directed. Ideal Candidate A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce and/or meet the requirements to be a member of a recognised Australian professional accounting body; or solid current experience in Financial Management Information Systems. Experience in a major accounting system and excellent computer skills with advanced Microsoft Excel. Experience in reconciliations and the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to pro-actively identify issues and formulate strategies to address them. Benefits and Perks!
