The Ateco Group is the largest independent, privately-owned motor vehicle distributor in Australia. We have a history spanning more than 30 years in developing and delivering automotive brands to the Australian and New Zealand market, covering luxury vehicles, performance pickup trucks, and economical commercial and passenger vehicles. An exciting opportunity exists to join our Aftersales team as Assistant Group Warranty Manager. This newly created role reports to the Group Warranty Manager and is responsible for supporting the Warranty team in optimizing warranty operations across all brands. This role ensures compliance with OEM, distributor, and legal obligations, drives process improvements, and provides strategic support to internal and external stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: Oversee warranty operations across all brands. Conduct pre-approval and claim adjudication. Analyze warranty data for trends and risks. Ensure best practices in policy application. Train teams and dealerships on warranty processes. Support audits and ensure compliance. Maintain reports on compliance and performance. Assist in developing new warranty programs. Work with OEMs to maximize warranty recoveries. What we are looking for: Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Automotive OEM or Distributor Warranty role. Strong understanding of Australian Consumer Law, federal compliance, and warranty regulations. Expertise in warranty policies, procedures, pre-approvals, and claim processing from both OEM/Distributor and Dealer environments. Experience with OEM/Distributor Warranty Management Systems and Dealer Management Systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
