Job Description

This integral role reports to the Human Resources & Payroll Manager and will partner with the LVMH Beauty Human Resources team on all Human Resources and payroll activities required to drive and deliver our key HR objectives! Job responsibilities Your key tasks include, though not limited to: Payroll: Play a key role in processing accurate payroll, meticulously managing records, and proactively addressing queries Champion compliance with legislation, awards, and policies, ensuring a seamless payroll experience Empower the team by handling regulatory payroll submissions with finesse and precision Turning data into powerful HR metric reports via salary surveys and other reports Navigate the financial landscape with budget reporting that drives informed decisions Collaborate on the forefront of policy development and engage with Regional HR to shape the future Business Partnering: Partner closely with managers, providing support throughout the employee lifecycle Guide successful employee relations, performance enhancement, and cutting-edge systems implementation. Design HR reports that bring the data story to life Project Work: Uncover new efficiencies by analysing and revamping current processes, aligning them with legislative, internal, and system requirements Profile The successful candidate will ideally possess: Hard Skills Payroll Processing & HRIS – Experience using HRIS and Time & Attendance systems to process payroll for 600+ employees. Award & Agreement Interpretation – Strong understanding of multiple awards (e.g., General Retail Industry Award, Hair and Beauty Industry Award, Storage Services and Wholesale Award). Data Analysis & Reporting – Ability to create, interpret, and present reports on payroll, compensation, and HR metrics. Legislative Compliance – Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, payroll legislation, and compliance requirements in Australia and New Zealand. HR & Business Partnering – Experience in providing advice and support across the employee lifecycle. Microsoft Excel & Systems Proficiency – Strong ability to work with Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools) and HR/payroll systems. Soft Skills High Emotional Intelligence – Ability to navigate complex situations with discretion, professionalism, and empathy. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Proactively identify and resolve payroll and HR-related challenges. Strong Work Ethic & Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll and HR processes. Customer & Solutions Focused – A responsive and service-oriented approach when handling employee queries. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Experience working with cross-functional teams, leaders, and external providers. Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, managers, and external partners. Time Management & Adaptability – Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
