Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Christian professionals for the fixed term position (0.8 – 1.0 FTE) for an Acting Assistant Head of Teaching & Learning – Primary from March 2025. Position Summary Bringing a Christian perspective to bear in all aspects of work, the Assistant Head of Teaching & Learning – Primary (AHTL-P) supports the Primary School in the following core areas: Early career teacher coaching (primary) Teacher Trainee coordination and coaching Student Literacy (Primary) This is a contract position for the 2025 school year and a secondary area of responsibility may be the oversight of curriculum assessment and reporting (Kinder to Year 6) and staff professional development. As a leader committed to enriching educational opportunities for students, the AHTL-P will identify, enable, facilitate, and implement continuous improvement and achievement of projects and initiatives, connecting the teaching and learning culture to the goals in the Launceston Christian School Strategic Plan. Reporting directly to the Head of Teaching & Learning, the AHTL-P will provide trusted advice, support, and thought leadership on a range of strategic and operational matters.
