Assistant Manager - Assurance & Advisory We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to lead our Assurance & Advisory Division. This position is fast tracked to being the companies' Audit Partner (due to imminent retirement) as this will be the lead role in the audit division. This is an opportunity to lead a portfolio of clients, deliver exceptional service, and mentor a team. What You'll Do: Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, taking ownership of audit logistics, file completion, and client relationships. Lead planning, execution, and finalisation of audits, including preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with auditing standards. Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and fostering professional development. Handle complex specialist assignments, such as due diligence and review reports, as required. Monitor budgets, billings, and write-offs to ensure projects are delivered efficiently. Stay up to date with technical and regulatory developments, contributing to the technical excellence of the division. Identify opportunities for value-adding advice and provide meaningful insights to clients. What We’re Looking For: Experience: A minimum of three years in an assurance environment within a Chartered/CPA accounting practice. Qualifications: Degree qualified and either near completion or fully qualified as a CA or CPA. Technical Skills: Proficient in auditing and accounting standards with experience using audit software (e.g., Caseware). Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage and inspire junior staff. Client Focus: Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Time Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines. Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and diplomacy, with a professional presence and the ability to build strong networks. Registered Company Auditor would be viewed favourably.
