Assistant Manager - Weddings and Social Events At Pan Pacific Perth, we empower our associates to grow and develop their skills. About the Role Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and Events Sales Manager, in this role you will: Manage the end-to-end sales and planning process for weddings and social events, ensuring seamless execution from initial contact to event delivery. Oversee the 'Celebrate' inbox, respond to client inquiries within one business day, coordinate logistics with internal/external teams, and handle deposits and payments per hotel policies. Produce accurate BEOs and floor plans, attend weekly sales and BEO meetings, and communicate event requirements with Banquets, Front Office, Reservations and Sales teams. Develop and implement sales strategies, collaborate with marketing to maintain relevant collateral, ensure SOP compliance and promote wedding and social packages. Maximize revenue opportunities through up-selling, cross-selling and participation in industry events such as wedding expos to attract new business. About You Proficient in speaking, reading, writing and understanding English. Strong ability to analyse situations and resolve issues effectively. Exceptional focus on details, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Positive team player with proven ability to lead and mentor others. Maintain extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
