An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, CA qualified, Assistant Manager/Manager (depending on experience) to join a passionate team of trusted advisors. This role offers the chance to provide a full range of quality tax, accounting and business services to a broad domestic and international client base. The successful candidate will be based in the heart of Leederville in a newly constructed office, working with a dedicated and friendly team. What you'll do: Provision of taxation and business services for clients in a range of industries Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for Companies, Partnerships, Trusts and Individuals Assisting the team and clients by checking or completing reconciliations of accounts including fixed asset registers, accounts payable/receivable and payroll accounts Preparation of BAS/IAS reconciliations and returns and other GST and payroll obligations Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns Liaising with clients and attending to various requests Liaising with the ATO for and on behalf of clients What you bring: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar 2 years management experience for managers, or 5 years public practice accounting experience for assistant managers Knowledge of ATO Tax Portal, SuiteFilesClass, Advanced Excel skills Ability to join in, and add to, the positive culture of the practice High attention to detail Ability to prioritise and strong time management skills Good with interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management What sets this company apart: This company prides itself on being a progressive and motivated firm with a focus on technical knowledge and practical outcomes for clients.
