Assistant Marketing Manager - Campaigns and Branding Australian Pork Limited (APL) is the peak body of the Australian pork industry. Explore the Opportunity We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious marketer to join the Campaigns and Branding marketing team. Your primary role will be to work alongside the Campaigns and Branding marketing team to make Australian pork ‘easier to mind’ and ‘easier to buy’ through campaign execution and evaluation in domestic and international markets. Through this role, you will get a taste of several marketing functions across brand, category, and insights within the B2C and B2B space. Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day activities: Assist in planning, producing, and measuring marketing campaigns across all media channels, with a particular emphasis on socials and search, within the wider online and offline mix. Be an advocate for the latest opportunities for brands in social and search, relevant to helping APL achieve its goals. Manage analysis of creative social assets, to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and further testing and learning. Work with key agency partners, and APL colleagues, to manage the execution and evaluation of paid digital activity, including (but not limited to) YouTube, BVOD, social/influencer, and search (SEO, SEM, social search and other apps/sites used by audiences). Collaborate closely with the Category retail teams to assist in well-branded delivery of retail campaigns from briefing to execution, to communication with retailer/supplier partners. Activity to include physical point-of-sale and in-retailer-app search. Manage the approval process of the usage of the Australian Pork consumer logo on retail packaging and licensee point of sale as per brand guidelines. Our Wish List To be standout for this role, you’ll be able to tick the following boxes: 2+ years experience in brand management or a similar role. A degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. An understanding of marketing principles and strategies. Creative thinking and a passion for branding. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders. You’ll also have: A willingness to work in and contribute to a tight team environment; A positive can-do attitude with a hunger for learning; Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail; and A flexible approach to managing the day-to-day requirements of the role. Location and Hours This is a full-time role based in either our Canberra or Sydney offices - hybrid work options available.
