About the role Provide effective leadership in the planning, management, and delivery of safe, quality consumer/person centred care within the tertiary/quaternary WNS of RBWH. This role functions as an effective interprofessional team member demonstrating professional and clinical expertise and contemporary knowledge in strategic planning, quality management and professional leadership and development. The role collaborates with other leaders and key stakeholders in leading the development and implementation of strategies to meet the demand for health care services, targets, and key performance indicators across WNS and Women, Children and Families Stream. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Facilitate practice of self and others is in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position. Practice collaboratively within the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups. Responsible for development and implementation of clinical practice standards related to consumer/person focused care and patient flow improvements within WNS. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic service planning models to support initiatives consistent with Metro North Health, Metro North Health Nursing and Midwifery Professional Stream strategic plans and Neonatology operational imperatives and targets.
