Randstad is excited to be partnering with a Multinational organisation who are seeking an Assistant Production/Operations Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing production operations. Your focus will be on driving safety, fostering a positive team culture, optimising process efficiency, and ensuring production targets are met while upholding high-quality standards and delivering exceptional customer service. Job Title: Assistant Production/Operations Manager Salary: $85,000 - $93,000 per annum + superannuation Hours: 6:30am - 2:30pm Location: On-site Parking - located 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Key Responsibilities Include: Cultivating a positive, motivated, and engaged team culture. Collaborating with team leaders to ensure staff consistently meet efficiency and quality benchmarks to fulfil customer expectations. Overseeing all aspects of the production team, including recruitment, on-boarding, training, coaching, and providing ongoing performance feedback to ensure high standards are maintained. Assisting the Production Manager with the daily operations and management of the branch. Key Skills and Experience Required: A background in a manufacturing or production environment is essential. Minimum of 18 months demonstrated experience in people management. Promote a safe work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate a team. Knowledge of 5S, LEAN, or HACCP principles is an advantage.
