The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Registrar , to join the Case Management/Registry team in a full-time ongoing or non-ongoing role. This position can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Perth, Melbourne or Sydney. Remuneration: The annual salary for the position is APS6 - $90,199 - $102,499 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%. About the opportunity: Reporting to the Executive Director Case Management, the Assistant Registrar is responsible for working closely with other Registrars in the exercise of the ART's statutory powers and functions. This includes undertaking case management activities such as giving directions, orders and decisions, undertaking Tribunal case events as required, and responding to enquiries from stakeholders. This role is responsible for: Service Delivery: Assist Registrars and Deputy Registrars to undertake pre-constitution functions related to the management and resolution of cases, ensuring consistent, accessible, timely and high-quality services to external and internal users. Knowledge and Advice: Maintain an advanced working knowledge of applicable legislation and policy frameworks, operations, and practices of the ART’s caseloads. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of the Tribunal’s statutory objectives and to facilitate the work of the Case Management Branch. Innovation and Change: Assist to identify innovative solutions and implement new or improved processes and case management practices to enhance the Tribunal’s capacity for providing high quality and accessible services to users. About you: To be successful you will have: Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in a culture of collaboration, and model standards of behaviour in line with APS Values, APS Employment Principles and APS Code of Conduct. Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information and concepts clearly. Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret and apply legislation within the context of issues, cases and processes. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to maintain productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge and understanding, of the Tribunal’s legislative and policy context. Mandatory: A degree from a university, or an educational qualification of a similar standing, in the field of law, or An educational qualification, or training and experience, related to dispute resolution or Experience related to one or more functions or powers of the Tribunal. Security Clearance- ability to obtain and maintain. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
