We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Darwin Store in a Permanent Full-Time position. The Darwin opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights). As the Assistant Store Manager, you will: Provide customer service and process sales. Tint and mix paint. Work with the team to achieve store targets. Be customer-focused by providing exceptional customer service. Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking, and storing of inward goods. Use pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and other devices to assist with manual handling. Support the Store Manager with admin-related tasks and other duties as required. In order to be considered, you will have: 3-5 years of previous retail experience. A desire to move into a leadership role - Training provided. Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales and KPI goals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Knowledge of the paint industry would be beneficial; however, being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must.
