Position Purpose An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Store Manager to join our David Jones Elizabeth St team. The Assistant Store Manager will partner with the Store Manager in leading a team of passionate brand ambassadors whilst embodying the Zimmermann brand: bringing optimism, creativity, and sophistication in everything they do. Inspire the team by leading by example to create a collaborative and motivating environment that fosters a shared brand vision. Role Responsibilities To consistently provide strong leadership, lead by example and present as a role model for all team members. Maximize sales by striving to be the best at providing excellence in Client Service, Visual Presentation and creating a memorable brand experience. To ensure that all team members achieve a superior standard of excellence in client service, brand knowledge and product knowledge. Promote an enjoyable and collaborative working environment which promotes passion, focus and discipline. Drive the recruitment process in line with Zimmermann’s Diversity and inclusion vision. To successfully lead and develop a high performing team that achieves individual and team sales results, builds strong team morale and a positive workplace attitude. To ensure that a consistent high standard of Visual Presentation is achieved and reflective of the brand directive. Oversee store operations including stockroom management and leading the Stock Coordinators through the stocktake in accordance with Zimmermann policy and procedure. To promote and always uphold the non-negotiable standards of the work health and safety policies and procedures. To ensure that administration is carried out accurately and efficiently in line with Zimmermann Policy and Procedures. About You Proven experience in a similar leadership role or client service environment. Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail. Passion for the brand and Fashion retail industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong, genuine relationships with team members and clientele. Desire for a long-term and fulfilling career journey. Why join our team?
