Assistant Underwriter (Corporate Solutions) Are you a driven and enthusiastic professional looking to advance your career in underwriting? We have an incredible opportunity for an Assistant Underwriter to support our Property portfolio with Swiss Re Corporate Solutions ANZ. About the Role As an Assistant Underwriter, your main responsibilities will include: Handling basic underwriting tasks, renewals, quotes, endorsements, and engaging with Brokers when required; Creating and maintaining records electronically, following established guidelines and processes; Collaborating with outsourced providers on queries and issues; Modifying, updating, and processing changes in applicable tools, systems, and documents as needed; Analysing and assessing Property submissions in respect of exposures and coverages; Prioritising new submissions quickly and optimally, finding opportunities in collaboration with the wider underwriting team. About the Team Our team is dedicated to providing administrative and operational support to Underwriters, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. About You We are looking for candidates who possess: Previous insurance experience, ideally with exposure to underwriting; A strong team player with the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and integrity; The ability to accurately and efficiently analyse data with a sound understanding of numbers; A solutions and results-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task; Strong service and client orientation; Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office.
