Job Description

Assistant in Nursing - Residential Age Care We are a privately owned and operated residential age care facility located in North Mackay, Queensland . We provide care and accommodation for 63 residents in single rooms and focus on person-centred care in a supportive environment for residents, their families, and staff. Qualifications & Experience Completion of Certificate III or IV or working towards this is desirable. Experience in aged care is advantageous. Must have or have applied for a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance. Tasks & Responsibilities Provision of Activities of Daily Living, including basic clinical care and psychosocial wellbeing of the residents. Literacy and numeracy skills required for reporting and documentation processes. Knowledge of the Accreditation system and its responsibilities is an advantage. Knowledge of PLST Model of care intervention is an advantage. Consciousness of self-wellbeing, staff and resident well-being, practising safe work skills. Flexibility, good time management skills, and task prioritization skills are essential. Must be available for various shifts and alternate weekends as required. Work in a supportive team environment. Ability to foster a positive team atmosphere. Roster to suit preference of hours and days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
