This business is a highly specialised risk and life insurance firm based in Glen Waverley. Established for over 15 years, they have built a loyal client base and a dedicated team of advisors and support staff. They have experienced significant organic growth recently, leading to the need for additional support staff and creating opportunities for career development and advancement. They are currently seeking an experienced financial planning or insurance Associate or Paraplanner who is looking to transition into an Associate role with the intention of becoming an Advisor in the short to medium term. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Reviewing client fact finds, entering client details into management software, and identifying relevant advice issues Conducting research and comparison of existing products Preparing insurance needs analyses Liaising with advisors to develop insurance strategies Preparing insurance market comparison reports Obtaining insurer quotes and presenting options in a client-friendly format Attending client appointments with advisors to assist with presentations, with the goal of conducting review appointments independently To be successful in this role, you must have experience working in a professional financial planning or specialist risk insurance firm. If you have completed your Professional Year, you could become an authorised representative within six months. If not, you could begin your PY after completing probation.
