We protect Queensland’s financial interests and deliver better financial outcomes by centralising the management of our clients’ borrowings, cash investments, and foreign exchange. As the Digital and Design Coordinator your primary purpose will be to contribute to the success and growth of the Marketing and External Communication Team by completing key publishing and developing engaging digital and design content. You will play a crucial role in keeping QTC’s digital channels up-to-date and will be instrumental in boosting employee’s external communication through high-quality design studio services. Your role will work closely with the Brand Design Lead and contribute to the overall success of the company. Responsibilities & Accountabilities Provide design and desktop publishing support for all teams as required for compelling and effective collateral including printed material, email signatures, social media assets, PowerPoint presentations, event collateral (invitation build and design), infographics and other collateral. Publish QTC’s regular weekly and monthly digital assets. Support the managing and publishing of content to digital platforms—including corporate website (WordPress), intranet (SharePoint) and EDMs (Campaign Monitor). Perform a key role in supporting the delivery of a major website uplift project, including identifying and driving website enhancements to improve the client experience. Support identifying and implementing ongoing improvements for the QTC suite of Microsoft Office report templates and assist employees across the business in their use. Support the delivery of website and e-mail analytics and metrics for reporting and enhancement purposes. Manage and publish website content updates with content owners to ensure that all content is updated in a timely manner. Manage WordPress testing with IT and external supplier. Proactively manage enquiries from internal stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner. Project management support and research across a range of different projects as required. Assist in supplier management—sourcing quotes and coordinating procurement process. Competencies Resource management, project management, implementation, and production experience (digital and physical). Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within already established visual brand guidelines and share ideas with the Brand Design Lead. Ability to effectively work cross functionally and collaborate, with the ability to work in a group and as an individual. Qualifications Essential 3+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience could have been gained in an in-house marketing/communication and/or design role. Degree in communication, marketing or equivalent work experience. Design qualification and/or equivalent work experience with a folio showing examples of work. Experience in WordPress, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Desirable Experience with video editing, photography, and motion graphics. Understanding of design thinking and UX design principles.
