The role : The Deal Structuring & Execution team provides a differentiated specialist service proposition for larger, complex, and sophisticated customers, providing industry and credit assessment expertise. The DSE Corporate Health team primarily works with healthcare clients which includes both listed, public and privately-owned companies. Sub-sectors managed include but are not limited to Aged Care & other Seniors Accommodation, Private / Day Hospitals, General & Specialist Medical, Allied Health, Health Insurers & Medical Suppliers. As an Associate Director in DSE, you will lead a highly engaged and collaborative team and partner with our Relationship Managers within the Corporate Health specialisation to deliver complex deal structuring and the execution of these deals for our customers. In this Associate Director role, you will: Lead a high performing team of Associates and Senior Associates. Support Relationship Bankers and work collaboratively across teams and broader stakeholders to deliver strong customer satisfaction. Lead transactions, prepare credit submissions & recommendations to credit, and support transaction execution through due diligence and legal documentation (directly or indirectly). Drive collaboration and the desired Enterprise culture to maximise the effectiveness of enterprise objectives and deliverables. Drive efficiency and change processes to maximise the right outcome for the team and NAB and deliver customer satisfaction. Improve awareness of NAB’s credit policies and internal risk appetite, and utilise product and sector experience to contribute to problem solving. Contribute to the team’s development plan, technical upskilling, and deepening industry specialty knowledge to maintain high performance of the team – e.g., coordinate training sessions, arrange Deal Reviews, facilitate working groups, maintain updated industry papers & benchmarking for Healthcare sectors. Be responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the risk profile and compliance requirements of client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is to an excellent standard. What you’ll bring: You have previous experience with people leadership, corporate and/or institutional lending, deal structuring and most importantly, credit assessment of large complex transactions. You are experienced in writing complex credit submissions & complete assessment of Corporate Health transactions. Your experience in structuring and packaging transactions will set you up for success. Experience in lending to the healthcare sector and property investment/development is favourable but not essential.
