You'll lead governance improvements to enhance compliance and support executive decisions within the Cabinet Team. Multiple Clerk Grade 11/12, ongoing and temporary opportunities available, based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD. About the Role We’re looking to fill one ongoing and one temporary position until 12 months (from start date) within the Cabinet Team.As our new Associate Director, Governance , you will lead the development, implementation, and management of corporate governance initiatives to mitigate risks and strengthen governance processes. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with best practices and public sector policies while providing expert advice, reporting, and strategic guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Your work will support high-quality decision-making and drive continuous improvement in governance across the department and cluster agencies.To learn more about the role please review the Role Description . You. Our ideal candidate. Expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance within the public sector. Extensive experience in managing complex governance projects and providing high-level strategic advice. Holds relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience. Proven track record in policy development, audit and risk processes, and driving governance improvements. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
